Santos grant three days off before regrouping for Mirassol | OneFootball

Santos have granted the squad three days off before regrouping on Tuesday to prepare for Mirassol. According to Diario Do Peixe, a recovery session followed Friday's win over Vasco at Vila Belmiro, with non-starters working on the pitch.

The players will rest on Saturday 28, Sunday 1 and Monday 2, then reconvene on Tuesday 3 to set out the full training plan.

They visit Mirassol on Tuesday 10 at 21:30 at José Maria de Campos Maia in the fifth round of the Brasileirão. Head coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda has the whole squad available.

The football department will finalise the programme and is weighing up double sessions or even a training match, but nothing is decided.

Following their Paulistão exit, Santos only have the Brasileirão for now. They enter the fifth phase of the Copa do Brasil, provisionally scheduled for 22 or 23 April, and the Copa Sudamericana first-phase draw is on 9 March.

In March, after Mirassol, they face Corinthians and Internacional at Vila, and Cruzeiro at the Mineirão. The CBF has yet to detail Brasileirão rounds from April.
