Santos are negotiating the signing of Fortaleza forward Moisés, who is under contract until December 2027. According to Diario Do Peixe, the forward returned to the market after a serious 2025 injury that sidelined him for about six months.
Fortaleza value him at around 3 million euros, while Santos are pushing towards 2 million euros. The move has been requested by coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda, who previously worked with Moisés at Fortaleza.
Despite Santos’ interest, Moisés initially wanted to stay at Fortaleza. He hoped to help their bid to return to Série A and keep family stability, having settled in the city and club environment. Talks remain ongoing.
This year he has already featured in the Campeonato Cearense, making six appearances in 2026. In 2024, before the injury, he scored 17 goals in 54 outings and finished as Copa do Nordeste’s top scorer with seven.
His rise came late. Until the age of 22 he played amateur football in Santa Catarina while working as a furniture assembler, then stood out at Concórdia. A national platform followed at Ponte Preta in Série B, leading to his 2022 move to Fortaleza.
In 2023 he joined Cruz Azul in Mexico for about R$ 24.5 million, then the biggest sale in northeastern football. After failing to settle, he returned to Fortaleza in 2024 and remains contracted until the end of 2027, with roughly 260 games and 65 goals in his career.
