Santos lose three starters to suspension for Bahia trip after 3-2 Fluminense defeat | OneFootball

Santos will be without right-back Igor Vinícius, midfielder Gustavo Henrique and forward Gabigol for next Saturday’s trip to Bahia in Salvador, in the 13th round of the 2026 Brasileirão. The trio are suspended after collecting their third bookings in Sunday’s 3-2 defeat by Fluminense at Vila Belmiro.

Diario Do Peixe reports that Mayke is Cuca’s leading option at right-back after returning to the bench against Fluminense. He has not featured since 4 February, when he started the clássico against São Paulo in the second round.

In midfield, Cuca can call on Uruguayan Christian Oliva, João Schmidt and Zé Rafael. Gabriel Menino is recovering from injury and remains a doubt for next week.

Up front, Lautaro Diaz and Thaciano are available. Rony, who is working back from an ankle sprain, will be assessed during the week.

Left-back Escobar, who served a suspension for his own third yellow against Fluminense, could return to contention for the Bahia match.
