Santos to confirm Novibet as new main sponsor, debut planned against Vasco | OneFootball

Santos plan to confirm Novibet as their main shirt sponsor next week. According to Diario Do Peixe, the brand will not be unveiled in time for the Paulista quarter-final against Novorizontino, with a planned debut at Vila Belmiro against Vasco on Thursday 26 in the Campeonato Brasileiro.

The deal is worth R$ 35 million per season, rising to R$ 40 million if sporting and commercial targets are hit. The contract will be signed with Allwyn, which owns the Novibet brand. The marketing department is finalising plans to ensure a well-timed announcement and activation.

Novibet previously held talks with Vasco but negotiations did not progress. In Brazil, the company has already featured on Fortaleza’s shirt.

Santos have been without a main sponsor since January, when 7k Bet ended its agreement early. That contract was due to run until April 2027 on higher terms than the new deal, but relations deteriorated over the past year.

The split followed missteps around the launch activation, an old brand shown at an official event and a Ministry of Finance investigation into a betting-linked promotion that resulted in a club fine. Efforts to rebuild ties, including granting naming rights to Santos TV, did not prevent the termination.

Beyond 7k, Viva Sorte also departed. Current partners include Loovi Seguros, UNIASSELVI, Placo, Next10, Kicaldo, Canção Alimentos, Nissei, Pague Safe and Pley by Ney across different kit assets.
