German reports suggest it is “increasingly unlikely” Sasa Kalajdzic will leave Wolves this summer. The striker turns 29 next week and has a year left on his deal, with an option for another 12 months.

He has spent two loan spells away, most recently at LASK in Austria. Despite a relegation pay cut, any move would mean a significant wage drop, the reports add.

New head coach Cesar Peixoto could want a closer look at the injury-hit former Stuttgart forward, signed for £15 million in 2022.

Ladislav Krejci has again been linked with Leeds. The 27-year-old completed a £26 million permanent switch to Wolves this summer after an impressive loan, and Premier League sides are still monitoring him.

Leeds are seeking replacements for Pascal Struijk, who is joining Brighton, with Krejci among options alongside free agent Danilho Doekhi and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Nico Elvedi.

June 30 is the expiry date for out-of-contract players, who become free agents after today. At Albion, attackers Karlan Grant and Josh Maja are set to leave as things stand.

Maja has been offered a new deal and talks were held with Grant in May. Both are assessing options, and from Tuesday they are no longer tied to Hawthorns deals.
