Scheduling boost for Real Sociedad before the final, more rest than Atlético | OneFootball

Real Sociedad have been handed a scheduling boost before the Copa del Rey final, with an early matchday 31 kick-off offering extra rest.

According to Diario Vasco, LaLiga has set their game against Alavés at Anoeta for 14.00 on Saturday 11 April. That leaves seven days and five hours to recover and prepare for the final in Seville at 21.00 on 18 April.

Opponents Atlético de Madrid will play their match that weekend at 21.00 on the Saturday, away to Sevilla in the same city.

Atlético will then play the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Barcelona on 14 April.

So while Real can turn their full attention to the showpiece after Alavés, Atlético will still have Sevilla in LaLiga and Barcelona in Europe on the horizon.
