RB Leipzig said in a statement on Tuesday, 24 February that Schlager faces at least a few weeks out with an adductor problem.
The midfielder was substituted during Saturday’s Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund after feeling muscular issues in his adductor area.

A thorough examination by the club’s medical team on Monday morning led to the prognosis.
The 28-year-old will begin an individual rehabilitation programme to regain full fitness and return to Ole Werner’s squad.
His absence deepens Leipzig’s midfield shortage, with Assan Ouédraogo also unavailable.
