Fiorentina made it seven Serie A victories in a row thanks to Yacine Adli and Moise Kean goals, while David De Gea denied Como with an amazing triple save.

The Viola went into the break for international duty on sparkling form. Cristiano Biraghi, Albert Gudmundsson and Amir Richardson didn’t make the trip, while Como missed Sergi Roberto, Gabriel Strefezza, Maxi Perrone, Alessandro Gabrielloni, Daniele Baselli and Luca Mazzitelli.

Lucas Beltran sliding in just failed to get the necessary touch to the Robin Gosens ball flashed across the face of goal, testing Emil Audero’s fingertips.

Fiorentina broke the deadlock when Beltran gathered with his back to goal and laid it off for Yacine Adli to drill hard and low through a sea of legs from the edge of the area.

COMO, ITALY – NOVEMBER 24: Moise Kean of ACF Fiorentina celebrates with his team-mates after scoring their team’s second goal during the Serie A match between Como 1907 and ACF Fiorentina at Stadio G. Sinigaglia on November 24, 2024 in Como, Italy. (Photo by Marco Luzzani/Getty Images)

David De Gea performed a simply extraordinary triple save from point-blank range to keep Fiorentina in front on the hour mark. He managed to parry from Edoardo Goldaniga, then the Federico Barba follow-up and slapped the loose ball away before Goldaniga could pounce again.

It proved crucial, because Fiorentina doubled their advantage when Riccardo Sottil combined with Adli to break down the left and rolled across for a delicate Moise Kean first-time flick into the near top corner with his left foot from eight yards. It was the Italy striker’s fourth consecutive Serie A game on target.

Como kept trying, as Patrick Cutrone nodded the Iovine cross over the bar, then his assist only skimmed the head of Andrea Belotti.

To make matters worse, Alberto Dossena saw red in stoppages for an off the ball slap on Adli that the referee spotted.
