Roma have a big opportunity to consolidate fourth place, so start new buy Donyell Malen with Paulo Dybala, seeking revenge just days after a Coppa Italia loss to Torino.

It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino at 17.00 GMT (18.00 CET).

These teams met just five days ago, when Torino knocked Roma out of the Coppa Italia Round of 16 with a 3-2 thriller in the Capital.

Che Adams scored twice in that game and is rewarded with another start here, especially as Giovanni Simeone is not fully fit.

Duvan Zapata was in the squad, but has been given permission to return home for a family matter.

Adam Masina is still at AFCON, with Ivan Ilic, Ali Dembele, Perr Schuurs and Zanos Savva injured, but Cesare Casadei returns from suspension.

Ardian Ismajli sustained a knock in Tuesday’s game, but is ready to take his place in defence anyway.

Roma have signed Malen from Aston Villa and Robinio Vaz from Olympique Marseille over the last couple of days, and not only are they both in the squad, but the Dutch striker is thrown straight into the starting XI.

That’s because there are so few other attacking options, missing injured Artem Dovbyk, Evan Ferguson, Leon Bailey, Stephan El Shaarawy, Tommaso Baldanzi and goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini.

Evan Ndicka returns from the Africa Cup of Nations, but Neil El Aynaoui is still on international duty.

Malen is therefore supported by Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini, who makes his comeback from injury.

Zeki Celik pulled up during the warm-up with a thigh issue, so is replaced by Devyne Rensch.
