AC Milan's February schedule brings a second trip to the capital for Coach Bakker's side, who travel to the Stadio Mirko Fersini to face Lazio on Matchday 15 of the Serie A Women 2025/26 season. After two consecutive defeats, the Rossonere are determined to recover and close the three-point gap that currently separates them from the Biancocelesti in the standings. The reverse fixture ended 4-2 to AC Milan, with a brace from Kayleigh van Dooren and goals from Monica Renzotti and Ijeh - but this chapter is yet to be written.

LATEST FROM PUMA HOUSE OF FOOTBALL There is a strong desire for redemption within the Rossonere camp following narrow defeats to Roma and Fiorentina. While AC Milan have failed to score in their last two outings, their attacking record remains superior to Lazio's this season, with three more goals scored overall. The winter transfer window also strengthened the forward line, with Kamczyk and Sesay already logging their first minutes for the Rossonere against Roma and Fiorentina. Coach Bakker will, however, be without the injured Babb, Piga and Sorelli, as well as the suspended van Dooren.

LATEST FROM LAZIO Lazio remain unbeaten in February, having recorded an emphatic 5-2 victory over Genoa and draws against Como Women and Juventus. At home, the Biancocelesti have not lost since November, collecting two wins and two draws across league and Coppa Italia fixtures. Grassadonia can call upon several former Rossonere, including forwards Karczewska and Piemonte - the league's current top scorer with 10 goals - as well as Mesjasz and recent January arrival Cesarini. Lazio's current fifth place would be their highest-ever finish in the Italian top flight, though three teams sit within three points of them, including AC Milan.

PRE-MATCH STATS

  • Lazio are unbeaten in their last three Serie A home matches (2W, 1D). Only between November 2024 and March 2025 (five games: 3W, 2D) have they enjoyed a longer unbeaten run on home soil. After drawing 1-1 with Como, they could record back-to-back home draws for the first time in the competition.
  • Only against Juventus (five) have Lazio suffered more Serie A defeats than against AC Milan (four, level with Roma and Inter). The Rossonere are also the side against whom Lazio have conceded the most goals in the competition (17).
  • Lazio have lost just one of their last seven league matches (4W, 2D), following four defeats from the five before that. They have not recorded two consecutive draws since August-September 2024.
  • Lazio (1 goal, 2 assists) are, along with Fiorentina (three goals), one of the two sides against whom Monica Renzotti has been involved in the most goals in Serie A, all coming in the reverse fixture. The only two players to have contributed to more than two goals in a single match against Lazio this season both wear the Rossonere shirt: Monica Renzotti and Kayleigh van Dooren.
