On Sunday 17 May at 15:00 CEST, AC Milan will face Ternana at the Stadio Moreno Gubbiotti in Terni on matchday 22 of Serie A Women, the final fixture of the season. With the campaign drawing to a close, the Rossonere will be looking to end the season with a convincing performance in a match with only the three points at stake. LATEST FROM TERNANA Ternana head into this match on the back of two consecutive league defeats, failing to score in either game. Ardizzone's side will look to make the most of home advantage to trouble the Rossonere and bring their losing run to an end. Despite their recent struggles, the Umbrian outfit can approach the final matchday with peace of mind, as they are already mathematically safe thanks to a four-point gap over Genoa.

AC Milan have remained unbeaten in 26 of their 28 Serie A matches against newly promoted sides (W21, D5), winning each of their last three - including a 3-0 victory over Ternana in the reverse fixture on 25 January.
After their 3-1 win over Parma last time out, AC Milan (whose next victory would be their 100th in the top flight) could win back-to-back league matches for the first time since between late January and early February (the first game in that run was against Ternana).
