FC Bayern will host 1. FC Heidenheim on matchday 32 of the Bundesliga. This is how coach Vincent Kompany’s starting eleven looks
FC Bayern will face 1. FC Heidenheim at home in the Allianz Arena on matchday 32 of the Bundesliga. Kick-off is at 3.30 p.m. The Munich line-up is now available
Jonas Urbig will start in goal, as Vincent Kompany had already revealed yesterday at the press conference
Konrad Laimer, Jonathan Tah, Min-Jae Kim, Hiroki Ito and Josip Stanišić will start in defense
In central midfield, 18-year-old Bara Sapoko Ndiaye will once again start alongside Aleksandar Pavlović and Leon Goretzka. It remains to be seen exactly how the midfield will be arranged in the game, but Goretzka will probably take on the more attacking role
Jamal Musiala and Nicolas Jackson will start in attack , meaning Kompany will rotate in seven positions compared to the Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain last Tuesday
Before the game, Kompany admitted that it was not easy to focus 100 percent on the game against Heidenheim in view of the Champions League second leg against PSG: „The truth is, of course, and I’m not hiding this, that when the game against PSG was so intense and when the anticipation throughout Munich is so great for the second leg, I then have to convince everyone as coach that we first have to play this Heidenheim game 100 percent.“
„That’s my job. Of course, I don’t find it easy. I try to focus on that every day, every minute,“ added the Bayern coach
