Sevilla working on free agent deal for former Chelsea & Ajax star | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga outfit Sevilla are working towards a deal for a former member of the attacking ranks at the likes of Chelsea, Galatasaray, and Ajax.

That’s according to transfer insider Ekrem Konur, who points towards Hakim Ziyech as the player in question.

Winger Ziyech, for his part, is currently available as a free agent.

The Moroccan international most recently spent time on the books of Qatari outfit Al-Duhail. After just four months in the Middle East, however, Ziyech made the call to terminate his contract.

The 32-year-old, in turn, has been without a club since all the way back in late May.

As alluded to above, though, this looks unlikely to remain the case for much longer.

As per a report from journalist Ekrem Konur:

‘Sevilla are working to clear salary space in order to finalize the signing of Hakim Ziyech, who’s been without a club since leaving Al Duhail earlier this summer.’
