South African sensation Shandre Campbell found the back of the net as Club NXT secured a 3-1 victory over Beerschot in the Challenger Pro League on Saturday.
The 20-year-old forward broke the deadlock in the half-hour mark, before veteran Japanese midfielder Genki Haraguchi restored parity in the 58th minute.
Campbell completed his brace with four minutes of regulation time remaining. Tobias Lund Jensen put the game to bed with a stoppage time goal.
Despite the win, Club Brugge's reserve side remain at the bottom of the second-tier standings with seven points picked up from 15 games.
Meanwhile, the SuperSport United academy product has now scored four goals and provided a solitary assist in all competitions - both reserve and senior.
Campbell has also featured in the UEFA Champions League when Brugge suffered a 2-1 defeat to Italian Serie A outfit Atalanta in September.
The Mzansi starlet will be keen to add to his continental experience as the Belgian giants welcome English Premier League juggernauts Arsenal on Wednesday.
Notably, Campbell has been included in Hugo Broos' final Bafana Bafana squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco later this month.
It's his first-ever senior national team call-up - a testament to his promising talent as one of the future stars of South African football.
