FLW's Sheffield United fan pundit dismisses any damage of the relationship between Chris Wilder and Blades supporters

Sheffield United's 1-3 defeat to Derby County was damaging, but Blades fans are still maintaining their positive relationship with Chris Wilder.
Sheffield United’s time of turmoil continued on Saturday as they were beaten 1-3 by Derby County at Bramall Lane. A Carlton Morris hat-trick leaves the Blades still in the relegation zone on nine points from 13 games played.
With the Championship table not being how people would've predicted it to look like at this stage in the season, Sheffield United are three points from safety behind the newly relegated from the Premier League, Southampton.
The defeat to Derby made it their 10th defeat of the season, five of them being overseen by the incoming Chris Wilder in replace of Ruben Selles, who failed to put a point on the board in their opening five fixtures.
The managerial change early on in the season promised to spark an upturn in form due to that man being Wilder, who sure knows his way around Bramall Lane. However, the boyhood fan has earned his side three wins from his eight games in charge, still leaving the club in the drop zone.
With problems mounting at Sheffield United right now, Wilder has a big task on his hands to ensure the Yorkshire outfit can push above that 22nd spot in the near future, otherwise a place in League One could await the Blades if they're not careful.

After seeming to turn a new leaf having strung together back-to-back wins against Watford and Blackburn a few weeks ago, that sense of hope was short-lived as two losses on the bounce against Preston and Derby has again, raised concerns over the direction the club is heading in.
Despite Wilder's restart to life at Bramall Lane being somewhat below-par, the 58-year-old hasn't had a huge time frame to produce positive results and, therefore, Football League World's Sheffield United fan pundit, Jimmy, believes that he's the right man for the job, but a tough job it is.
Jimmy said: "I wouldn't say that fans are losing confidence in Wilder. I don't think that the relationship is damaged in any way. I think it's recognised that he's got a really big job on his hands, and the vast majority of Blades fans, from those that I speak to and know, think that he's the right man for the job.
"It is coming to the point where he has to take some responsibility for the results and performances, even though there's been a hangover from the Ruben Selles reign."
"It's now, can he get them [the players] playing like a Chris Wilder team, because the Derby game on Saturday was nothing like what we recognise a Chris Wilder team to be.

For Wilder to come through the door in replacement of Selles, at such an inconvenient period of the season, it could be argued that the manager should be cut some slack for not having a pre-season to get to know the newcomers to the squad after heavy movement in the summer transfer window.
With the manager not quite knowing what his best XI was in his first few games back in charge at Bramall Lane and sitting rock bottom of the league at the time of his arrival, it was always going to be an uphill battle for him. However, with three wins, there have been positives in those games, and now it's a case of finding a rhythm.
For FLW's Sheffield United fan pundit, Jimmy, he believes that Wilder has the backing of the majority of the fanbase. However, now it's merely a case of finding some stability.
Jimmy said: "He's got a huge job on, but we're nowhere near the point where fans are starting to turn from what I understand. I would never speak for the entire fanbase, but the circles that I move in, it's not something that they've lost faith in him or anything like that."
"He's the right man, he's just got a big, big job on his hands."
