Shelbourne FC Appoint Nicola Coffey as Chief Operations Officer

Shelbourne Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicola Coffey as the club’s new Chief Operations Officer.
Nicola joins Shelbourne FC following a distinguished period working with South Dublin County Council, where she played a key role in the management and operation of Tallaght Stadium for nearly 17 years. She brings with her extensive experience in stadium operations, governance, event management, and stakeholder coordination at the highest level of Irish sport and public administration. She also has comprehensive experience of working with UEFA in both the qualifying rounds and league phase of European competition.
In her new role, Nicola will oversee the club’s day-to-day operations, with responsibility for operational strategy, facilities, compliance, and the continued professionalisation of structures across the club. Her appointment reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its structures and building for the future.
Speaking on the appointment, Tomás Quinn, Shelbourne FC CEO said: “Nicola’s experience, leadership, and proven track record in managing complex sporting environments make her an outstanding addition to Shelbourne FC. We are delighted to welcome her to Tolka Park and look forward to the expertise and ambition she will bring to the role.”

Nicola will begin her role in March 2026.
