West Brom's fan pundit has urged the club to dismiss Ryan Mason from his role as head coach

Following a 3-1 defeat away to Queens Park Rangers at the weekend, Ryan Mason's role as West Brom head coach looks under threat.
It has not been the season that many Baggies fans would have hoped for.
Their most recent defeat away to QPR has caused a stir amongst the club's fanbase, with Mason already previously under scrutiny for the job he was doing at the Hawthorns.
Despite West Brom sitting just five points off the play-off picture after 19 games, many Baggies fans are far from pleased with how the season has gone, with the club in real danger of finishing lower than 10th in the Championship for the first time in 25 years.
West Brom's squad is undoubtedly talented, possessing the likes of Aune Heggebo, Mikey Johnston, and Samuel Iling-Junior in attack, Isaac Price, Jayson Molumby, and Alex Mowatt in midfield, and Chris Mepham, George Campbell, and Nat Phillips in defence.
For one reason or another, Mason simply has not gotten the best out of his current crop of players, and because of this, he is in real danger of losing his job sooner rather than later, leaving Baggies owner and Chairman Shilen Patel with a big decision to make.

Football League World's West Brom fan pundit, Callum, has shared their views on whether now is the right time to sack Mason following their away defeat to QPR at the weekend.
Callum said: "I think that with the upcoming games against Southampton and Sheffield United this week, it's very difficult to see us getting much more than one point out of those two in our current predicament and form under Ryan Mason.
"So, I very much think now is the time to bite the bullet. I think one of the best examples I'd give about Mason not being the best fit for us is how the players have come out, particularly Molumby, in recent weeks, saying how much they love playing for him.
"Then I go back to last year when, I can't remember what podcast it was, but Jed Wallace was speaking somewhere about the strictness of Carlos Corberan, you know, not having ketchup in the canteen at the training ground, things like that.
"I think Albion's squad very much needs a figure who's going to keep them on their toes, going to keep them rigid, they're going to analyse every single detail and have it drilled into them.
"But I very much doubt that Ryan Mason is going to be that figure. And it doesn't seem like things are going to be improving anytime soon.
"I still can't get my head around the decision to drop Josh Griffiths yesterday. I think that that's very much a sign of a manager who knows he's in trouble."

In what is his first permanent role as a senior coach in his career, Mason is seemingly close to being dismissed.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Hull City midfielder has taken charge of Spurs on a number of occasions as interim manager following the sacking of various head coaches, such as Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte, with West Brom being his first permanent role in management.
Still only 34, Mason's choice to drop Josh Griffiths in favour of Joe Wildsmith in goal away at QPR massively backfired, with the former Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County keeper at fault for the R's third goal, and had made a huge mistake not too long prior, but was rescued by Rumarn Burrell firing over.
Decisions like these are often huge ones, and can in many instances cost a manager their job if the board feels as though they cannot trust their judgement.
Mason will likely have a long and successful career in management, and has shown glimpses of his ability as a head coach, especially in the early stages of the campaign, but the walls are seemingly closing in on his time with the Baggies, and if he is unable to get a positive result in either of their next two tricky fixtures against Southampton and Sheffield United, his fate, you would imagine, will be sealed.
