Sidny Cabral bids farewell to Benfica as Trabzonspor move confirmed | OneFootball

Sidny Cabral has completed a transfer from Benfica to Trabzonspor, being presented by the Turkish club on Thursday. Benfica will receive 10 million euros plus up to two million in bonuses, and retain a 20% share of any future profit on a transfer.

The player said in an Instagram post, "Obrigado, SL Benfica, foi uma honra".

Cabral departs six months after arriving. The 23-year-old winger scored on his debut for the first team against Estoril.

An episode in which he swapped shirts with Vinicius Júnior proved damaging, and he subsequently saw little game time.

He now starts a new chapter with Trabzonspor in Türkiye, who ended last season third, eight points behind champions Galatasaray.

Across 2025/26 with Estrela da Amadora and Benfica, he made 28 appearances. That included 23 in the Liga Portugal Betclic, two in the Champions League, two in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga, totalling 1,835 minutes, with six goals and six assists.
