Sidny Cabral has pledged to keep working with Cape Verde after scoring in a 4-2 defeat to Chile, a message that comes as he experiences a tougher spell at Benfica.

According to Glorioso 1904, the Benfica full back and winger called the match a good test for the Blue Sharks and praised the team in an Instagram post.

He said the group would continue to work hard to prepare for the next World Cup and that they would give everything during this international window.

The 23-year-old has had a challenging month in Lisbon, which coincided with controversy after he asked Vinícius Jr for a shirt. He gained more minutes against Vitória de Guimarães and, after two months, found the net again.
