Former Real Madrid pro calls for Olise signing

Although Bayern President Herbert Hainer recently emphasized both the excellent relationship with Real Madrid and the fact that they would under no circumstances consider selling Olise, the latest rumors seem to be raising some doubts—at least from the player’s perspective.

Now, a former Real Madrid pro, Ivan Zamorano, has weighed in on the Olise situation. Speaking to the Spanish newspaper Marca, he said, “I’d sign Olise right away!”

He continued: “I’d start Olise, Mbappé, and Vinicius, and put Enzo Fernández in midfield. We already have a right back and a center back… that would give us a great team.”

At least for this summer, that seems more like wishful thinking. However, FC Bayern needs to position itself very well for the future. Although Olise is under contract until 2029, if the record champions fail to extend his contract soon, his departure will definitely become a real issue sooner or later.

The fact that Real Madrid star Mbappé and Olise get along very well also plays a role here. So Bayern has been warned, but there’s no need to panic just yet.
