Marco Silva says there is zero chance of Harry Wilson leaving Craven Cottage this month, clarifying his stance before Fulham’s trip to Leeds.
According to Hounslow Herald, Wilson scored and assisted in the 3-1 FA Cup win at Middlesbrough, and his future was questioned after Silva said he was unsure whether the winger would be available in the short or longer term, even up to the end of the season.
He then made clear there is no prospect of a January exit, adding there had been no offer and dismissing growing noise around a possible move in this window.
Wilson’s contract expires at the end of the season and talks over a new long-term deal are ongoing. He could still leave on a free next summer and, given his form, interest is likely.
The 28-year-old has 11 goals and six assists for club and country this season, including strikes in his last three games. He has started 18 Premier League matches, more than in any previous season at Fulham.
Silva praised Wilson’s maturity and finishing, noting greater calm, timing and left-foot quality, and said consistent minutes have been key since pre-season. He added that trust and a measure of pressure are helping him decide games, and hopes the winger can maintain this level.
