There are some big name managers set to come out of contract this summer. With some significant vacancies, could any of these coaches take up an intriguing new role?
Thomas Tuchel will lead England at this summer's World Cup, where the German will hope to end the Three Lions' 60-year wait for a major trophy. England completed the qualification phase in formidable fashion, winning all eight games without conceding a single goal.
Tougher tests await in the summer, where England take on Croatia, Ghana and Panama in the group stage. Tuchel was appointed as only the third non-English coach, tasked solely with winning the World Cup.
Regardless of whether that objective is achieved, a return to club football is possible this summer.Manchester United have been linked and adding the World Cup to a résumé that already includes the Champions League and league titles in Germany and France would make the 52-year-old an outstanding candidate.
Carlo Ancelotti is another high-profile international coach whose contract is due to expire. The iconic Italian will oversee Brazil's campaign, tasked with leading the record five-time winners to a first World Cup since 2002.
Ancelotti has achieved it all in his coaching career with a record five Champions League trophies and the unique feat of winning each of Europe's top five leagues.
A World Cup would cement his status as one of the greatest coaches of all time, before a decision is made on his future. Brazil are working on a contract extension.
The third World Cup coach on this list. Mauricio Pochettino will take charge of co-hosts, the United States, at this summer's tournament.
Pochettino's stock is not quite as high as it was during an impressive tenure at Tottenham, with mixed results at Paris Saint-Germain andChelsea. However, the Argentine has admirers at several sides who may be on the lookout for a new leader this summer.
Oliver Glasner hasconfirmed that he will leave Crystal Palace at the end of the campaign. The Austrian's deal runs out in the summer and he has opted against extending his time at Selhurst Park.
Frustration with the club's transfer policy has contributed to that decision, with Glasner unhappy that the club failed to kick on from last season's FA Cup win. That trophy wasthe first in Crystal Palace's long history, an achievement that will have Glasner in demand.
Fulham have offered Marco Silva fresh terms but there has been no agreement reached on an extension.
The Portuguese is considering his options at Craven Cottage, after almost five years atFulham. During that time, Silva has solidified Fulham as a top-flight team, ending the club's continued yo-yo existence between the Championship and Premier League.
Bournemouth's high-intensity football has won plenty of plaudits and has placed Andoni Iraola in the thoughts of top clubs. The Spaniard's future is up in the air with no extension signed to his deal, which could see Iraola depart in the summer.
Real Madrid have been linked after Xabi Alonso's exit, while there's Premier League interest too. Iraola has had to deal with several significant sales on the South Coast and could now choose a new challenge.
