Six Nottingham Forest players and familiar faces to watch at the World Cup

The World Cup is up and running across the Atlantic, and Nottingham Forest are well represented. The tournament builds towards the final on July 19.
According to Nottingham Post, six members of the club’s class of 2026 have been selected. Goalkeeper Angus Gunn is included, although he will depart when his contract expires on June 30.
Elliot Anderson’s England face Croatia on June 17, Ghana on June 23 and Panama on June 27, all nine pm BST kick-offs.
Dan Ndoye’s Switzerland meet Qatar on June 13, Bosnia & Herzegovina on June 18 and Canada on June 24, each at eight pm BST.
Ibrahim Sangare’s Ivory Coast play Ecuador on June 15 at 12am BST, Germany on June 20 at nine pm and Curaçao on June 25 at nine pm.
Chris Wood and Tyler Bindon’s New Zealand face Iran on June 16 at two am, Egypt on June 22 at two am and Belgium on June 27 at four am.
Gunn’s Scotland play Haiti on June 14 at two am, Morocco on June 19 at 11pm and Brazil on June 24 at 11pm.
Former Reds are involved too. Sabri Lamouchi manages Tunisia in Group F with Sweden, Japan and the Netherlands.
Danilo is in Brazil’s squad, who share a group with Scotland. Matt Turner is with the USA, grouped with Paraguay, Australia and Türkiye.
Richie Laryea is with Canada in Switzerland’s group. Promotion hero Brice Samba is in France’s squad, who are with Senegal, Iraq and Norway.
