Manchester City have been linked with a move for Pierce Charles

Sheffield Wednesday have had a busy start to the summer transfer window under their new owners Arise Capital.

The group led by David Storch completed their takeover of the Owls two months ago, and have been quick to get to work on making big changes behind the scenes.

David Bruce has been installed as the new CEO, with Simon Wilson arriving to take on the role of sporting director.

Wilson will work closely with Henrik Pedersen to rebuild the first team squad for next season, with three additions already through the door at Hillsborough.

Ricardo Santos, Callum Slattery and Jordi Liongola have joined the League One side, with further incomings expected.
