Matias Soulé could leave Roma before June 30th.
The Argentine winger risks losing out if the Giallorossi were to swoop in for Greenwood.
Gasperini seems to want something different from the 2003-born striker in attack, which is why the former Frosinone player’s agent, Martin Guastadisegno, visited Trigoria yesterday.
Soulé’s team wants to understand the Argentine winger’s future and evaluate potential offers, which have not yet arrived, but are not ruled out as soon as they arrive.
Soulé is a highly regarded player in England, especially at Aston Villa. Bournemouth should also be on the lookout. As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, the 2003-born player is highly sought after by Borussia Dortmund, who had already expressed interest in the former Frosinone player in recent months.
Roma are asking around €40 million for Soulé, given that he’s still on the books at around €15 million.
Thus, the Giallorossi club could generate a capital gain of around €25 million, which would be useful for fulfilling the settlement agreement.
Dortmund could get close to these figures, given that several strikers like Guirassy and Adeyemi could be leaving. Soulé, however, would prefer to play in the Premier League, which is why official offers are expected, especially from England.
