A piece in the Sun today insists that Chelsea still hopeful of selling Nicolas Jackson to Bayern Munich, despite rumours to the contrary.

It’s already become clear that Jackson isn’t going to start the 40 games necessary to make the loan deal permanent, and the talk in recent days has been that the German giants aren’t even interested in negotiating a cheaper deal to bring him in next summer.
However, this piece pushes back against that, saying that a source close to the player is “very happy in Munich,” and that he “has taken to the club like a duck to water.”
The problem is that this isn’t really to do with whether Jackson likes Munich and playing there – it was pretty clear that was his ideal situation from the moment the offer was on the table. The question is how much Bayern want him, and how much they’re willing to pay.
Right now we can’t see that lining up with Chelsea’s hopes for a major fee.
“[Jackson] is going back to Germany to continue helping the club, and I can tell you that is all he’s focused on, playing and helping the club achieve their aim of winning big trophies,” their source said.
“At the end of the season, we will see what happens.”
We certainly will…
Estevao Willian has just got back from international duty, where he learned a fact about his club and national team managers which he found “amazing.”
Enzo Fernandez isn’t getting as much praise as Moises Caicedo this season, but his stats are superb and those behind the scenes seem to be really impressed by how he’s taken his efforts to a new level.
