Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG has taken on a central role at Otto-Fleck-Schneise 6 as both tenant and landlord.
In close proximity to the ProfiCamp at Deutsche Bank Park and with views of the stadium, a modern location for sport, business and administration is gradually developing in the redesigned sports complex in the Stadtwald (City Forest).
The building, which is leased on a long-term basis and certified according to ESG sustainability criteria, offers more than 6,000 square metres of office, meeting and storage space, among other amenities. “With the sports complex in the Stadtwald, we are creating a futuristic facility that closely integrates sports, science and administration,” said board member Julien Zamberk. “The combination of in-house use – which offers us further options for the future in terms of healthy corporate growth – and external subleasing not only strengthens our own infrastructure but also the entire sports ecosystem in Frankfurt.”
Eintracht Frankfurt’s women’s football department has already made the offices here its home since the start of the year. “The sports complex in the Stadtwald is the perfect location for women’s football – in the immediate vicinity of the ProfiCamp and our training centre in the winter sports hall,” said Katharina Kiel, director of women’s football. “The new premises offer us ideal conditions for our day-to-day work and further underline the growth and professionalisation of women’s football at Eintracht.”
Alongside Eintracht Frankfurt, several other high-profile institutions and organisations are based in the sports complex, including the Goethe University Frankfurt Department of Sports Science, the Association of German Football Coaches (Bund Deutscher Fußball-Lehrer e.V.), Special Olympics Germany in Hesse (Special Olympics Deutschland in Hessen e.V.) and the Katzenmeier Physiotherapy Practice. Additional space is available to sports associations based on Otto-Fleck-Schneise as well as organisations connected to sports. The sports complex in the City Forest therefore plays a central role, particularly in the ‘Campus Sportdeutschland’ project – funded by the State of Hesse – aimed at further developing the sports infrastructure at this location.
