St. Pauli boss Alexander Blessin has played down links to Eintracht Frankfurt after Friday's 0-0 derby draw with Hamburger SV.
According to BuLi News, the 52-year-old brushed off questions at the Sky microphone, mixing humour with exasperation and insisting the subject was not worth discussing.
Blessin has been mentioned among several options as Eintracht seek a permanent successor to Dino Toppmöller, with suggestions the shortlist numbers three to four.
Marco Rose is viewed as a prominent candidate thanks to his Bundesliga record with Borussia Mönchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, and any move for him would likely require compensation.
Kjetil Knutsen, the long-serving FK Bodø/Glimt coach, is also said to be in the frame, his team having recently recorded a surprise win against Manchester City in Europe.
For now Blessin's focus remains on St. Pauli's Bundesliga battle. Eintracht are scheduled to hand interim boss Dennis Schmitt his Bundesliga debut today as the club continues its search for stability.
