According to Sponichi, Taichi Hara of Kyoto Sanga FC is close to joining the Hamburg-based club FC St. Pauli.
The Japanese sports daily reports that negotiations between all parties involved are in their final stages and nearing completion.

Hara's club has already released an official statement saying that the striker is on his way to finalize negotiations with an unnamed club.
"Taichi Hara will leave the team on Wednesday, January 28th, to complete the necessary formalities and preparations for a move to a foreign club.
“We will announce Hara's future as soon as an official decision has been made,” Kyoto Sanga explained on their website.
During the 2025 J1 League season, the 26-year-old scored 5 goals and provided 9 assists in 34 appearances.
