The bad news is piling up at Leicester City like bills under the door when you've been on holiday. Every time you think it's over, more negativity emerges for the Foxes at present. When something positive is about to happen or happens, another problem rears its head.
Obviously the Blue Army fan base haven't had a lot to be cheerful about for nearly a year now. But one or two optimistic elements, such as the debuts of Jeremy Monga and Jake Evans for example, have occurred.
On this occasion speculation states at least a few of City's overpaid underperformers may remain at the east Midlands club for next season. Great! I'll name and shame the ones who I think have been poor. I'll also designate which prominent Foxes should be sold or allowed to leave in general. Yet one overrated Leicester star who's been pretty terrible for the entirety of the campaign might actually continue on.
So why is this England-capped defender tipped to stay at King Power Stadium for 2025/26? Why don't those at Seagrave Training Centre or the powers that be on Filbert Way acknowledge what us invested supporters see from James Justin week in and week out?
Unfortunately for us Foxes fans, one Leicester-specialist reporter has suggested that much of City's underperforming personnel could be here next year. Oh dear.
Names like Luke Thomas could be 'doing his best' for LCFC in the Championship. However, thankfully some like Ricardo Pereira and Woyo Coulibaly will probably be kept at the King Power.
Although others like Justin are tipped to stay as well. Why is the full back singled out? He was one of the worst of a bad bunch in 2024/25. As he's played for the Three Lions, the faithful expect more commitment and consistency.
