Find out all the stats and facts from the Parisians' 3-2 win at Lyon on Sunday 23rd February 2025, the 23rd matchday of the Ligue 1 season.
23 games played, no defeats. Lots of wins, but not a single defeat. Paris are, and remain, unbeaten. With 18 wins and 5 draws, the club from the capital has established the 2nd longest unbeaten run at the start of a season in the top flight in the 21st century, behind their own efforts in 2015-16 (27).
Against Lyon, PSG won for the eighth time in a row in all competitions, their longest run in a single season since October-December 2022 (also 8).
Their insane run of form away from home continues, now stretching to 36 consecutive matches unbeaten. With AC Milan's record in the top 5 European leagues (38), set between 1991 and 1993, in their sights. Yeehaa!
They are the law. Dembélé and Hakimi continue to shine, with the stats to prove it. The former has scored 16 goals in all competitions in 2025, at least 2 more than any other player in Europe's top 5 leagues this year. He has further extended his lead in the scoring charts, and is about to receive his Ligue 1 Player of the Month award for January. A fine example of continuity!
As for Achraf, who scored twice at Lyon, he is the club's 1st defender to score twice since Marquinhos on 28th November 2021 (at St Etienne). He has also scored 17 Ligue 1 goals since his arrival in Paris (summer 2021), at least 4 more than any other defender/full back over that period.
He's off to conquer the West. The Georgian is finding his feet in his new squad, and is showing an impressive rise to prominence. The proof is in the man-of-the-match award he received against Lyon on Sunday evening. All he was missing was a goal to complete an already fantastic evening!
Kvaratskhelia has 3 goal involvements in his last 2 matches in all competitions with PSG (1 goal, 2 assists), more than in his first 6 matches (1 goal, 1 assist).
