Stats show Barcelona do not rely on any single player for goals

One of the clearest trends emerging from Barcelona’s season so far is how goals are now being shared across the squad.
The numbers strongly suggest that Hansi Flick is deliberately easing the scoring burden away from Robert Lewandowski, not only by sidelining him, but by creating a more balanced and unpredictable attacking structure.
Rather than relying on a single scoring point, Barcelona now boast multiple players contributing regularly in front of goal.
To put things in perspective, as many as five players have already reached double figures in all competitions, with two more close behind, which is a significant shift from recent seasons.
At the top of the list is Ferran Torres with 15 goals, followed by Raphinha on 12.
Lamine Yamal, who reached an impressive 100-goal milestone, and Lewandowski are level on 11, while Fermin Lopez has reached 10.
Close behind are Marcus Rashford with eight and Dani Olmo with seven.
A closer look at the competitions reveals just how evenly distributed the goals have become.
In La Liga, Ferran leads with 11 goals, but Lewandowski (9), Raphinha (8), and Lamine (8) are all contributing consistently.

Olmo (6), Fermin (4), and Rashford (3) show the depth Flick now has at his disposal.
The picture becomes even more interesting in the UEFA Champions League. Here, the usual hierarchy is flipped.
This is because Fermin leads with five goals, closely followed by Rashford on four.
Ferran, Lamine, and Jules Kounde have each scored twice, while Lewandowski and Olmo sit on one apiece.
Notably, Raphinha is yet to score in the competition so far, meaning even more variation could follow.
Domestic cup competitions tell a similar story. In the Spanish Super Cup, Raphinha exploded with four goals, while Fermin, Lewandowski, Ferran, and Roony Bardghji also shared the responsibility.
Meanwhile, in the Copa del Rey, goals have come from Lamine, Ferran, Rashford, and Andreas Christensen.
Taken together, it is safe to conclude that Barcelona are no longer built around one scorer.
Under Flick, goals are coming from everywhere, and it may very well prove to be the most sustainable attacking model they have had in years.
