Inter Milan need divine intervention to beat Napoli to the Scudetto on the final day of a chaotic 2024/25 season.
Per Tuttosport via FCInterNews, if that doesn’t happen, the Nerazzurri would have no one but themselves to blame.
For most of the campaign, it looked like Inter would stroll to a second consecutive Scudetto.
However, Simone Inzaghi has let his ambitions cloud his judgment, which could cost the San Siro outfit dearly.
Indeed, Inter head into the final Serie A weekend a point adrift of leaders Napoli.
Therefore, the Scudetto fate is firmly in Antonio Conte’s hands.

Inter’s relentless pursuit of Champions League glory could prove the detriment of their Scudetto ambitions.
Seemingly preoccupied with conquering the final European peak, they’ve perhaps unintentionally sacrificed their domestic duties.
For instance, Inter only conceded 22 goals en route to their 20th Serie A title last term.
This season, however, they’ve capitulated 35 times. Of those 35 goals, 16 came from the 70th minute onward.
Meanwhile, that same backline boasted the best defensive record in the league phase of the Champions League.
Indeed, Yann Sommer only conceded once in the opening eight European fixtures.
Furthermore, the reigning Scudetto holders have won 15 points fewer than at this stage of last season.
That perhaps best illustrates the club’s focus in 2024/25.
