Sterling ‘not in talks’ with club over Chelsea exit despite reports | OneFootball

Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling is not in talks with Besiktas over a potential transfer to Turkey despite reports.

Sterling is free to leave Chelsea this summer after being deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Arsenal but endured a disappointing spell in North London.

Besiktas have been rumoured to be interested in signing Sterling, with the Turkish Süper Lig side keen to unite the winger with fellow Englishmen Tammy Abraham in Istanbul.

However, journalist Ben Jacobs is reporting that no talks have taken place with Sterling not interested in a move to Turkey. The winger wants to remain in the Premier League, and ideally London, with Sterling’s young family settled in the capital.

Crystal Palace were named as potential destination but the Eagles are nearing the signing of Yeremy Pino from Villarreal. West Ham United and Fulham have also monitored his situation.
