Bolton Wanderers have until 7pm on Monday to complete any remaining transfer business
Steven Schumacher has claimed that Bolton Wanderers are seeking potentially three more signings before the January transfer window closes, with Ryan Hardie the latest name to be linked with a move to the Greater Manchester outfit.
As reported by Marc Iles, the 41-year-old is confident of bringing in a new midfielder and striker, as well as possibly one other player before the 7pm deadline this Monday.
The League One side have already made a number of additions this January, including Rob Apter and Corey Taylor-Blackett, but they have their sights on bringing in even more players in order to boost their promotion hopes.
There are just a few days remaining of the mid-season window, and amid Schumacher's striker comments, Bolton have been linked with a potential move for the aforementioned Hardie from Wrexham.
The Scottish centre-forward has made just six appearances in the Championship for the Red Dragons since his summer move from Plymouth Argyle, with his last appearance coming on December 13 due to a knee injury - that may not stop him departing North Wales though before Monday's deadline.

Schumacher has claimed that at least two new players will be signed before the market closes on February - with one of those potentially being Hardie.
The former Plymouth boss has also hinted that there could be a third addition on the way, although he was less certain that this deal could come to fruition.
Schumacher reiterated his desire to improve the squad before their weekend clash against AFC Wimbledon, although time is running out on that front to get deals done, but assured supporters that the arrivals of Apter and Blackett-Taylor on loan won’t be the end of their January business.
“[Blackett-Taylor and Apter] won’t be the only two signings either,” Schumacher said, via the club’s YouTube channel.
“Hopefully we can get a couple more done over the next few days because I still think we need to strengthen our squad in certain areas.”
He also added that a replacement for Aaron Morley is being sought after his move to Wycombe Wanderers this month: “That’s the objective now, get somebody in who we feel can step in [for Morley].”
Bolton are currently third in the League One table, and have their sights set on automatic promotion to the Championship.
Schumacher’s side are six points adrift of second-placed Lincoln City, and have also played a game more than their rivals.
Next up for the Whites is a trip to face AFC Wimbledon on Saturday in a 12.30pm kick-off.

Bolton are in good form at the moment, but they still have a lot of ground to make up on Lincoln in second if they’re to earn a top two finish in League One.
So, bringing in a couple of fresh faces could be a big difference-maker in the second half of the campaign.
Ryan Hardie has proven experience at this level, and adding someone of his calibre would take some of the goal scoring pressure off Mason Burstow, for example, who hasn't been in fine form in recent months with just one goal scored in his last 18 league outings.
But time is running out to complete any deals, so Bolton have to act fast in the final days of the window if they are going to get that extra edge in the promotion battle.
