Steward identified over abusive search before Benfica v Porto 2-2 draw | OneFootball

The Public Security Police identified a stadium steward on Sunday over an abusive search carried out before the Benfica v Porto clássico, which finished 2-2.

According to O Jogo, the steward placed her hands inside the bra of a female Porto supporter ahead of round 25 of the league.

The league delegate’s report also recorded two further incidents. The Porto kitman was struck by a stone and Pepê was hit by a lighter.

Porto had formally asked the league to oversee the entry of their supporters at Estádio da Luz. The request aimed to avoid delays, incidents and abuses reported in recent years by their fans and those of other clubs, particularly visiting foreign supporters. These reports included claims of excessive force and groping in inappropriate areas.

In 2018/19, several complaints were lodged with the police.
