Walsall defender David Okagbue has insisted that he ‘fully expected’ Stoke City loanee Nathan Lowe to do what he has been doing.
The 19-year-old Stoke City loanee is considered a player for the future at the Potters and he has been capped by England at Under-19s level.
The Championship outfit sent him to League Two side Walsall for a season-long in the summer to ensure first-team minutes under his belt and he has been in brilliant form for the Saddlers.
He has made 15-goal contributions in 20 games for the Saddlers and Okagbue stressed he expected the Potters loanee to do as well as he has done.
The Walsall star believes Lowe is a player who will have a very bright future in the game as he continues to grow and develop.
“I fully expected him to do what he has been doing”, Okagbue told the Saddlers’ media about the 19-year-old Stoke loanee.
“He is going to go far in the game I think because you can see how special he is.
“I have known him for a long time so I am really happy to see him do so well.”
If Lowe is able to keep his current form going for most of the season at Walsall then he will hope to put himself front and centre to feature under Narcis Pelach in the Potteries next term.
