Stuttgart ‘could re-enter’ race for Ajax winger Mika Godts | OneFootball

VfB Stuttgart’s attempts to sign Ajax winger Mika Godts in the winter window appear to have been unsuccessful.

According to Voetbal International, the Belgian received enquiries from several clubs, including Stuttgart, Premier League side Arsenal, La Liga’s Barcelona, and Roma and Napoli from Serie A.

Ajax will not consider a sale until the summer at the earliest. Godts has 10 goals and 7 assists in the Eredivisie this season.

If the Belgian U-19 international’s progress continues at this pace, the Dutch club will likely struggle to keep him for much longer.

With a contract running until 2029, the current fourth-placed side are in a comfortable negotiating position. A €15 million valuation had recently circulated, but it has since risen significantly should Stuttgart try again in the summer.
