Football Insider reports that Sunderland and Bournemouth are ‘keeping tabs’ on Queens Park Rangers forward Rumarn Burrell, who has 10 goals this season.

The 25-year-old joined from League One club Burton Albion last summer and has produced 10 goals and three assists in 30 appearances in all competitions during his first year at Loftus Road.

Burrell broke into international football over the last 18 months, scoring on his Jamaica debut in a 3-2 friendly win against Trinidad and Tobago last May, then earning four further caps without adding to his tally.

The report also says Wolverhampton Wanderers admire him and view the striker as part of efforts to rebuild and strengthen after their relegation was confirmed last week. They are said to see him as a recognised Championship goalscorer who could aid an instant return.

Meanwhile, Regis Le Bris and Sunderland remain focused on the run-in, with a home win over Nottingham Forest lifting them into the top eight for at least 24 hours and raising hopes of only a second European campaign in the club’s history. Summer planning continues.
