Sunderland’s Europa League qualification has sparked a flurry of summer speculation, with talk of both arrivals and departures gathering pace on Wearside.

TEAMtalk reports that Tammy Abraham, who joined Aston Villa in January for around £21 million, could be the subject of interest after a limited role. He made 12 Premier League appearances, 10 as a substitute, and Sunderland, Everton and Leeds United are said to be monitoring his situation.

Sky Sports News says goalkeeper Anthony Patterson is a target for Wrexham and is also on the radars of recently relegated Wolves and Millwall, where he spent the second half of the 2025/26 campaign on loan. Sky Sports News adds that Sunderland are seeking £8 million to £10 million.

Mozzart Sport claims young midfielder Milan Aleksic is set to join Partizan Belgrade on a season-long loan, with an option to buy still being discussed.

Continental journalist Igor Burbas states that Nazariy Rusyn will be joining Karpaty Lviv this summer. With the 27-year-old under contract at Sunderland until 2027, any near-term exit would more than likely be permanent. He previously had loan spells with Hajduk Split and Arka Gdynia.
