With all the money spent on revamping the frontline this summer, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard might have been considered old news at Arsenal, but they have stepped up off the bench tonight to remind everyone of their importance.
The much-maligned Brazilian had been on the pitch for just 36 seconds when he stuck the ball past Unai Simón to silence the home crowd in Bilbao.

It was a brilliant goal from the winger, who latched onto a pass from Trossard to race through and compose himself before slotting home.
Martinelli then returned the favour to the Belgian, who scored with the aid of a deflection to seal the three points and a perfect start to their Champions League campaign.
