Internazionale), the winner of the 2023/2024 Coppa Italia Frecciarossa (Juventus F.C.), the runner-up in the 2023/2024 league season (AC Milan), and the finalist from the last Coppa Italia Frecciarossa (Atalanta BC).

The first semifinal will be Inter vs. Atalanta (Thursday, 2 January 2025), followed by Juventus vs. AC Milan (Friday, 3 January 2025). The final between the semifinal winners is scheduled for Monday, 6 January 2025.

THE HONOUR ROLL

In Riyadh, Inter will compete in the Italian Supercup for the thirteenth time in its history. Under the management of Simone Inzaghi, the team comes into the tournament with three consecutive triumphs in this competition.

The Nerazzurri's first appearance dates back to 1988. In the twelve previous editions, Inter has claimed eight trophies, including last year's: 1989, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Juventus 9 (1995, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020) Inter 8 (1989, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2021, 2022, 2023) AC Milan 7 (1988, 1992, 1993, 1994, 2004, 2011, 2016) Lazio 5 (1998, 2000, 2009, 2017, 2019) Roma 2 (2001, 2007) Napoli 2 (1990, 2014) Sampdoria 1 (1991) Parma 1 (1999) Fiorentina 1 (1996)

THE STADIUM

The trophy will be awarded at the innovative "Kingdom Arena," the most modern indoor multi-sport facility in the entire Middle East and North Africa. The competition returns to Saudi Arabia after the editions of 2018/19, 2019/20, 2022/23, and 2023/24. In the first rendition, Juventus defeated AC Milan at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, while the following year, Lazio triumphed over the Bianconeri at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh.

In the last two editions in Saudi Arabia, Simone Inzaghi's team has claimed the cup, first defeating AC Milan 3-0 in the final and then winning 1-0 against Napoli after beating Lazio in the semifinals.

Overall, this will be the 14th time the Supercup has been played outside of Italy. In its history, Inter has participated in four editions of the trophy abroad. In addition to the last two victories, the Nerazzurri faced Lazio in the 2009/10 season in Beijing and Milan in the 2011/12 season, also in the Chinese capital.
