Swansea City have been linked with a move for Kevin Filling
Swansea City finished the Championship campaign with a 3-1 win at home against Charlton Athletic.
The Welsh outfit earned an 11th place finish in the second division table, coming nine points behind sixth place Hull City.
Vitor Matos will now be planning for the summer ahead, as he looks forward to his first pre-season in charge of the first team squad.
The Portuguese coach took over at the Swans in November, replacing Alan Sheehan at the helm.
The 38-year-old oversaw 14 wins from his 31 games as manager, leading the team back to the 11th place that they earned in the previous campaign.
It could now be a busy summer transfer window ahead for the club, as they look to build a team capable of bridging that nine point gap to the play-offs for next season.

It has been reported by Swedish outlet Sportbladet that Swansea have made an offer worth 25 million Swedish kroner (£2 million) for forward Kevin Filling.
It’s believed that AIK have turned down the bid, and it remains unclear whether the Championship side will come back in for the 17-year-old, as we enter the early stages of the transfer window.
He has previously attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United, Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund.
RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart have also kept tabs on the teenager, who made his debut in the Allsvenskan this season for AIK.
The forward is also on the radar of Newcastle United, but he has a contract with the Swedish club until 2028.
Swansea reportedly firmed up their interest in Filling with an offer a number of weeks ago, but it was rejected.
The Welsh outfit are hoping to bolster their attacking options this summer, and the 17-year-old has emerged as a target.
If an agreement is struck with AIK for his signing, Swansea would have to wait until he turns 18 before he could join the club due to new rules regarding signing teenagers relating to Brexit.
He will turn 18 in November, meaning the January transfer window would be the earliest possible opportunity to secure his arrival, but a deal can be agreed at any point.
Given the interest in his services, a deal this summer could help Swansea secure a move ahead of the likes of Aston Villa and Man United.

Filling is only 17-years-of-age but is already earning starts in the Swedish top flight, as he made nine appearances in the league in the 2025 campaign.
The 2026 season is only underway in the last few weeks, and he’s featured in five of AIK’s opening six fixtures, including one start.
So there is no doubt that he possesses a lot of potential, particularly if he is garnering interest from such big clubs across Europe.
His signing could have quite a lot of potential for Swansea, if they can strike an agreement with AIK, even if it would mean having to wait a while to see him in action for Matos’ side.
