Szoboszlai Gets 7, Frimpong With 6 | Liverpool Players Rated In Disappointing Loss Vs Brighton

Liverpool clashed heads with Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 14th minute when Danny Welbeck found the back of the net. However, Milos Kerkez equalised for the visitors in the 30th minute as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Welbeck scored again for the home team in the 56th minute as Arne Slot’s men crashed to a disappointing 2-1 loss away from home.

He made a few solid saves during the game but conceded two goals this afternoon.

He earned the ball back twice and managed to score the equaliser with a good finish in the first half.
CM: Ryan Gravenberch – 6.5/10
Gravenberch managed to shine on both halves but has got nothing to show for his efforts.

He made two important interceptions inside his half but lacked the cutting edge in the final third.
RW: Florian Wirtz – 6.5/10
Wirtz linked up play well with others around him in the first half. However, he struggled to influence the game in the second.

He put in a hard-working performance inside the Brighton half but lacked quality with his crossing.

Gakpo caused some headaches for his marker, but never looked like he would score.
