Liverpool faced off against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the fifth minute when Dango Quattara found the back of the net. Kevin Schade doubled his team’s advantage in the 45th minute before Milos Kerkez pulled a goal back for the Reds in the dying embers of the first half. Arne Slot’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.

Igor Thiago restored Brentford’s two-goal lead from the penalty spot in the 60th minute. Mohamed Salah got a goal back for the Reds in the 89th minute, but Liverpool ended up suffering a lackluster 3-2 loss away from home.
