Tony Docherty has named his Dundee side for this evening’s Scottish Premiership clash against Celtic. The visitors from Tayside held Brendan Rodgers’ side when they met last month at Dens Park in an enthralling 3-3 draw.
Dundee suffered a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Hearts at the weekend but they’ll be looking to recapture the form in their last meeting with Celtic.
Dundee: Carson, Astley, Portales, Donnelly, Mulligan, F.Robertson, Sylla, Garza, Ingram, Adewumi, Murray.
Subs: McCracken, McGhee, Larkeche, C.Robertson, Tiffoney, Palmer-Houlden, Shaughnessy, Samuels, Lopez.
Elsewhere, Brendan has named his team with a sensational return for Jota to the starting XI. There is also a place on the bench from Jeffrey Schlupp.
Celtic: Schmeichel, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Taylor, McGregor, Engels, Hatate, Jota, Maeda, Idah.
Subs: Sinisalo, Scales, Kuhn, Yang, McCowan, Schlupp, Kenny, Bernardo, Ralston.
Celtic can go thirteen points clear at the top of the table by winning their game in hand this evening and they’ll be eager to put down a marker, especially given the quiet end to the transfer window. All eyes will likely be on Jota but there’s no Lyall Cameron for the visitors, who sealed a pre-contract with Rangers during the week.
