Telstar host Sparta Rotterdam in the Eredivisie on 22 April in Velsen-Zuid, with the home side trying to climb out of the relegation play-offs and the visitors looking to firm up a top-half bid.
Sparta Rotterdam edged the reverse fixture 1-0 in October. Telstar start this round 16th on 27 points, while Sparta are 10th with 42.
Form is mixed on both sides. Telstar have two wins in five, including a 3-1 home victory over PSV and a 4-1 success at Fortuna Sittard, but they lost to Groningen and at Utrecht last time out. Sparta have one win in five, beating Volendam, with draws against PEC Zwolle and NAC Breda and defeats by Ajax and PSV.
Team news could shape selection. Telstar list Nökkvi Þórisson plus defenders Gerald Alders and Adil Lechkar as injured. Sparta will be without suspended defender Teo Quintero.
Routes to goal may hinge on Telstar's delivery and Sparta's defensive steel. The hosts have scored 39 league goals and produced seven headed goals, with Jeff Hardeveld supplying six assists and Patrick Brouwer and Jochem Ritmeester van de Kamp on seven goals apiece. Sparta have kept 11 clean sheets and are strong in the air, and may look to Tobias Lauritsen, who has 11 league goals, to lead their threat.
A win would lift Telstar to 30 points and could ease pressure in the survival fight. Three points for Sparta would take them to 45 and move them closer to the qualification play-off places.
