An overview of Eintracht involvement during the international break, with everything from friendlies to World Cup play-offs, and EURO U21 and U19 qualifying in between.

The World Cup in Canada, Mexico and USA is drawing ever closer, with the tournament in North and Central America now less than three months away. Those teams that have already qualified are ratcheting up the friendlies, with the final FIFA international break of the current season providing the perfect opportunity for more matches. Germany, who have Nathaniel Brown in their squad, are facing Eagles’ central defender Aurèle Amenda’s Switzerland this month before taking on Ghana.

Theate and Skhiri in North America 

After making his comeback for Eintracht in the Rhine-Main derby against Mainz, and wearing the captain’s armband into the bargain, Arthur Theate will be heading off to take on two of this summer’s host nations. His Belgium side are set to face USA and Mexico, with both matches in USA. 

Ellyes Skhiri’s Tunisia take on the third World Cup host nation, Canada, in Toronto, where they will also play Haiti. Farès Chaibi’s Algeria meanwhile have friendlies against Guatemala and Uruguay, and Ritsu Doan’s Japan will be heading to the UK to play Scotland and England.
