Tetê returns to Grêmio as record signing for 2026 | OneFootball

Tetê, 25, has returned to Grêmio as the club’s main signing for 2026. He arrived in Porto Alegre to finally make his senior debut, carrying the tag of the most expensive signing in the club’s history.

According to Gremistas.net, the agreement with Panathinaikos is valued at 6.2 million euros, about R$ 39.6 million, placing Tetê at the top of the club’s all-time investment list.

The outlay surpasses the sums paid for defender Wagner Leonardo and Uruguayan Cristian Olivera, announced in February 2025 at 4.5 million dollars each, R$ 25.7 million.

The top five is completed by midfielder Franco Cristaldo, who joined after impressing for Huracán in a 4.5 million dollar deal, R$ 24 million. Left-back Marlon is fifth, bought outright from Cruzeiro this season for 3.5 million euros, R$ 23 million.

The remaining places are filled by Campaz, Giuliano, Pavón, Miller Bolaños and Villasanti, with fees ranging from R$ 18.3 million to R$ 21 million.
