The Athletic name two players Chelsea are interested in ahead of January window | OneFootball

Chelsea are interested in French youngsters Jeremy Jacquet and Dyjlian N’Guessan according to the latest report from The Athletic.

The Blues once again heavily invested in the squad over the summer, and totally revamped the frontline with five new attacking signings.

The January window is fast approaching, and as expected Chelsea have been linked with a number of players, but it’s been reported the Blues are going to be quiet next month.

Chelsea interested in Jeremy Jacquet and Djylian N’Guessan

Whilst it’s unlikely any first team reinforcements will arrive in the winter, the same can’t be said for some potential stars of the future.

Chelsea have been linked with Leicester star Jeremy Monga, whilst a deal has already been agreed for 16-year-old Deinner Ordonez, who will join the club in January 2028.

Chelsea are among the clubs monitoring Jacquet.

However, it appears the Blues have two more youngsters on their radar, and The Athletic have reported Chelsea have interest in Jacquet and N’Guessan.

The report adds the two young talents are being monitored, but that’s as far as the interest in both players has gone at this stage.

Chelsea have previously been linked with Rennes star Jacquet, who’s a highly regarded centre back, with Arsenal also thought to be interested,

The Blues are also said to have made an offer for N’Guessan, and the 17-year-old striker is currently plying his trade in Ligue 2 with St Etienne.

Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha arriving next summer

Whether Chelsea add any further players in January remains to be seen, but they already have two attackers arriving next summer.

Both Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha will arrive from Sporting Lisbon and Strasbourg respectively, and are expected to go straight into the first team squad and compete for minutes.

Quenda is a highly rated winger, whilst Emegha, who scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 last season will add another striking option in the squad.
